Asian Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

1.5 lb organic lean ground turkeyasian turkey wraps
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1-2 jalapeno pepper, minced (spicy use 2, mild use 1)
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
4 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup green onions minced
3 tbsp fresh cilantro
1 tbsp raw unfiltered honey
1 tsp molasses
2 tbsp lime juice + ½ lime zest
1 tbsp fish sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

1. Bring the oil up to medium high temperature; use a large wok
2. Put half the green onions, jalapeno, garlic and ginger into the wok; cook for 1-2 minutes
3. Put the turkey into the pan, break it up completely and brown the meat; about 3-5 minutes
4. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix completely; cook for 5-8 minutes more
5. Remove from the heat and let sit to cool slightly; about 3-5 minutes

Assembly

Meat Mixture
12 large napa (Chinese) cabbage leaves
¼ cup unsalted-roasted chopped almonds (can use peanuts in place of almonds)
1. Lay out the leaves on a large platter
2. Divide the meat mixture evenly over the 12 napa leaves and serve immediately
